Ascorbyl Glucoside (abbreviated as AA2G) is a stable derivative of Vitamin C (L-Ascorbic Acid). Formed via molecular conjugation between Vitamin C and glucose, it overcomes the instability and easy oxidation drawbacks of pure Vitamin C in aqueous solutions. Upon topical application to skin, endogenous enzymes gradually break it down into bioactive Vitamin C to deliver sustained benefits.
